Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FreeRide, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. FreeRide is operated by Nick from Greece. These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, with disputes settled in the courts of Athens.

A project memory system that connects to your AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, or any MCP-compatible client) and captures features, decisions, ideas, and documents as you build. Two surfaces: the dashboard at freeride.dev and the MCP server at mcp.freeride.dev.

You need an account to use FreeRide. Keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old (EU/EEA) or 13 (elsewhere). One person per account; account sharing isn't supported.

Don't use FreeRide to:

• Store or transmit illegal content, malware, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Abuse the service (rate-limit evasion, scraping, attempting to compromise infrastructure).
• Resell access without our written agreement.
• Generate or distribute spam, harassment, or content that violates applicable law.

Violations may result in suspension or termination. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to authorities where required.

• Free tier — 50 agent actions per week, up to 2 projects, 30-day history. Always available.
• Pro — $8/month. Unlimited actions, unlimited projects, full history, priority support. Billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Early Access offer — the first 100 accounts qualify for a 50% lifetime discount on Pro ($4/month vs. $8). To claim it, you must upgrade within 60 days of joining Early Access. After 60 days, the offer expires and standard pricing applies.

We don't offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you'll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period, then drop to the free tier.

Prices may change for new subscriptions. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate (including the locked Early Access rate, where applicable). We'll notify you 30 days in advance of any change that affects you.

You own everything you create in FreeRide — features, decisions, documents, ideas, project knowledge. We don't claim ownership. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service for you.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time. After deletion, your content is removed within 30 days from active systems and within 90 days from backups.

When you connect a coding agent to FreeRide via MCP, the agent calls our API on your behalf. The agent reads and writes the project knowledge it's authorized to see. You're responsible for which agents you connect and what they do with access.

We don't train AI models on your project data. Agent providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) operate under their own terms — we have no control over how they handle data passed through their systems.

The FreeRide name, logo, software, MCP server design, dashboard UI, and all related assets remain our property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of FreeRide IP to you.

FreeRide is provided “as is.” We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, ship breaking changes during pre-1.0 development, or temporarily restrict features. Where reasonable, we'll notify users in advance.

To the extent permitted by law, FreeRide is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct, statutory consumer rights).

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail to pay, or pose a security risk. On termination, paid balances are not refundable except where required by law.

If we change these terms materially, we'll email you and update the effective date at the top. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
