Works inside the AI tools
you already use.
Install FreeRide once in each tool. They all work from the same projects, so you can switch tools, and your team can each use their own.
Pick the tools you like.
Use one, or all of them. A project you start in one picks up in any other.
Claude Code
The deepest integration. Your agent catches up when a session starts, logs work as it goes, and keeps the docs current.
Set up Claude Code →Codex
The same workflow, from the same plugin: catching up, work logs, decisions and docs.
Set up Codex →Cursor
Works in Agent mode. Link a repo once, and every chat in it works from the project.
Set up Cursor →Claude
For thinking things through. Catch up on any project, and save ideas and decisions as you talk.
Set up Claude →ChatGPT
Coming soon. The same projects and the same cards, in ChatGPT.
Every tool reads and writes the same projects. An idea saved in Claude chat is there when Claude Code, Codex or Cursor starts work the next day.
Deepest where you build.
Coding agents run the whole workflow. In chat, FreeRide stays light: catch up on a project, then save what's worth keeping.
Link a repo once.
Run setup in any coding agent. It names the project in a small file and adds FreeRide's rules for every agent. Commit them, and the repo is ready in Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, for everyone who clones it.
Chat needs no setup. Name the project, and Claude finds it.
Commit these, and teammates are linked too.
Set up in a minute, in the tool you already use.
Install the plugin, sign in once, and keep working the way you do. Free on your own. Teams pay when they share.
Install the plugin
In Claude Code, run:
/plugin marketplace add freeride-dev/freeride/plugin install freeride@freeride
Sign in once
A browser window opens the first time. Approve it and you're in. Not asked? Run /mcp and pick FreeRide.
Link your repo
Once per repo. Commit the files it adds, and teammates are linked too.
/freeride:setup
Apps, answered.
Once per family of apps. One install covers Claude Code, Claude chat and Cowork, since plugins on your claude.ai account also show up in Claude Code. Codex and Cursor each get their own install. Then sign in once in each app.
No. Link it once, in any coding agent. The setup adds FreeRide's rules to both CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md, so the repo is ready in Claude Code, Codex and Cursor alike.
Cursor asks before each tool call. You can let FreeRide's tools run without asking. Use Agent mode: Ask mode is read-only, so Cursor blocks FreeRide's tools there.
If the desktop app is connected, your claude.ai chats may run their tools through it. Connect FreeRide there too, in Settings → Connectors.
The plugin is built and in OpenAI's directory review. It will appear here as soon as it's approved, with the same projects and the same cards as Claude.
